Mengchun's Persuasive Speech

A persuasive speech should give a message, and persuade the audience into agreeing with the topic.

Body language:

Standing still (take a few steps left and right might also work)

Eye contact with the audience

Hand gestures (emphasising)

Expressions

Way of speaking:

Clear

Loud

Fluently (practice a lot)

Slight pauses between sentences

Topic:

Clear viewpoint

Give examples

Rhetorical questions (to make the audience reflect)

Offer a solution

Give facts and statistics


This is Mengchun's Persuasive speech. We are learning about speeches because speech finals are coming up in week 9. So we are studying about speeches, how to stand and to talk.
