Poetry competition

Room 1 all got a certificate for participating in the junior school poetry competition. We had to choose a poem and learn it. When we stood up to share our poem with the class we had to stand still and use actions and expression. Next year we will write speeches. Kaitlyn

Samoan Language Week

Today we investigated Samoan patterns and tapa cloth designs for Samoan Language Week. We used our iPads and copied the designs. Juel

Student Led Conference

Thank you to all the parents that attended our student led conference.  Room1 had a great turnout and all the learners enjoyed sharing their learning and goals with their whanau.

Rangoli Patterns

We made our own Rangoli patterns. It is used in the Indian culture for the Diwali celebrations. Xavier
